Dedicated to Inspiring Project
Delivery
No mater how fine the line between good and great projects, everyone sees the difference at once. Sometimes, the ability to find that line requires fewer lines on the page, not more. It always requires more, not less creativity, discipline, and dedication. Then, with trust and courage, we can move past the line that defines the average, and we can discover our ability to make the better world that we all want.
Gabriel Zamora
Gabriel established Eighth Days Architecture as a generalist practice applying the best standards in architectural design to the greatest possible variety of projects. Eighth Days does not specialize in a particular market, style, or niche. Instead, we practice from the belief that all construction and urban design benefits from quality design, regardless of budget or size, or whether the work is public, private, commercial, institutional or residential. In twenty years working in California and abroad, Gabriel has completed several estate projects, won prestigious awards for housing design, and successfully litigated for historic preservation under California’s CEQA statute. He is a licensed California architect with a professional degree from the University of Southern California, and a graduate degree specializing in classical architecture, urbanism, and theory from the University of Notre Dame.
